25th Philadelphia Film Festival Celebrates M. Night Shyamalan

The Philadelphia Film Society celebrated the opening night of the 25th Philadelphia Film Festival last night with a party at the AKA Washington Square, where they honored M. Night Shyamalan with the inaugural Lumiere Award. After the party, the guests headed to the Prince Theater for the opening night film, LA LA LAND. The Philadelphia Film Festival runs from October 20th through October 30th.

During the festival, an award named after Perlmutter's husband Archie was presented to the "Best Debut Director." Bhavna Vaswani, J. Andrew Greenblatt, executive director of the Philadelphia Film Society, and M. Night Shyamalan, honored with the Philadelphia Film Festival's inaugural Lumiere Award at the AKA Washington Square last night.
